  • UX bug fixes, permission and liquid support updates

    We added validation for invalid start date entered on user-submitted events

    Added liquid validation and improved support for liquid conditionals in membership autoresponses. They now support number of comparisons such as recipient.age > 25

    Control Panel Users are now redirected into the control panel instead of to the public site after they activate their account. Previously, this did not work for customers who didn't use a custom domain.

    Previously, tags were removed from profiles if a public site user who wasn't logged in filled out a form with their existing email addresses and left all tag checkboxes blank. This has been fixed!

    We fixed a UX bug on the pdf download of an event rsvps. The header was overlapping the data on multi-page reports.

  • Send 1:1 texts from your nation

    1:1 texting is now available for all customers who have texting! 

    You can use the “Incoming” Texting tab in your Broadcaster as an inbox and respond to individual texts on the person’s profile, as long as that person is textable and you have sufficient text messages left in your account.

  • Recurring memberships and donation updates, new sources for automations

  • Recurring donation updates, donation import history and more views with search!

    We've updated how we categorize recurring donations for NationBuilder Payments:

    • When recurring donations start to fail, you can find them by selecting "failing" from the Recurring donation status filter in both the People and Finances sections. 
    • Once a recurring donation is canceled due to too many consecutive failures, we update the status to "failed". Going forward, only manually canceled recurring donations will have the "canceled" status.

    Donation imports are now paginated so that you can see all the historical ones!

    We fixed a bug where the wrong broadcaster could be attributed to an email contact if you had multiple broadcasters with the same email address.

    You can now search both precincts and saved filters. Saved filters are paginated now too!

     

  • Action Button embeds, import speed, UX improvements and more

    To improve import speeds, imports are now limited to one at a time per nation.

    Easily embed Action Buttons on your NationBuilder pages
    You will no longer need to edit a custom template to embed a button on your pages. Simply click the ActionButton icon in the WYSIWYG, paste in the button ID, and publish!

  • Social capital updates, theme pagination and filtering improvements

    The default for “Remove social capital” when sending a 1:1 email from single-person view is now 0 sc.

    Pagination now shows up at the top as well as the bottom for the theme attachments page. It makes it much faster to search for a specific file without having to scroll to the bottom to get to the next page!

    We fixed a bug that prevented users from filtering on single-person view.

    We added bulk update functionality to event rsvp attendee checkboxes, this should save you some clicking time!

  • Nil membership expiration, download feedback CSV, new logged contact filter

    When filtering for people who received/opened/clicked a specific blast, you can now select a blast that still has an A/B test in progress.

    We created a new filter that searches the contents of logged contact notes! 
    Note that it will not show you exactly which note matches, but it will return the list of signups who have that keyword logged to their profile.

    Fix

    When you clone a site, the new site's images no longer point back to images on the original site. 

  • The Action Button add-on is live!

With this update, you can now create buttons and easily integrate them with your nation to engage supporters and gather insights in many ways: from quizzes to sentiment polls and contacting legislators. The add-on starts at $9 per month.
